Chloe, who was now sitting with her head bowed down, started sobbing again. Her hands covered her face. She was so ashamed to think that Denny was totally wrong to expect such actions from someone he had always respected as his elder brother. No matter if Desmund had never shown much affection to Denny.

“He did find the person, a woman, still in a coma at the City Hospital,” Franco took a deep breath and swallowed his spit with difficulty. He felt like a lump was blocking his throat, but he had no choice other than to continue.

“City Hospital?” Denny frowned. “I have been there a lot of times. Aleah’s mom is a patient there. I offered medical assistance to help the patient recover more speedily, but Aleah rejected the offer. She did not want it for free knowing the cost of every treatment, including meds and therapies, so she agreed to work as my intern accountant for my travel agency, and her salary goes to deduct the fees for her mom’s medical bills.”
