Chapter 11. Be Safe

“I got a job at the pack house as a baker. Even though I had to be careful, I was able to look around most of the house. I put together a plan of what I have so far and will keep adding to it.” She made a book with plans for the pack house on the Red Moon.

She had marked most of the rooms and made paths. I looked at the map, and the princess chambers stood out to me. I thought of her right away.

Chris saw that there was a pause and spoke up. “This topic seemed to really interest you. Care to elaborate?”

I shook my head to get rid of the time we spent together at the river. I wanted to put her to sleep in her bed the same way I did in the sand.

What the hell am I doing wrong? I need to find time tomorrow to go to the city and get away from this temptation.
