Chapter 17. Key to Freedom

Alexia’s POV

I had to figure out how to get a copy of the keys from the guard. He wore them around his belt, and I didn’t know how to get him to take them off before I ran out of time. My son told us to attack the dungeon first thing tomorrow, but if we couldn’t get in, the attack would be pointless. We would learn more about how our enemies protected themselves, but all I wanted was my daughter back.

My husband and oldest son died a long time ago, so my sweet boy Caius is now the oldest Alpha and will lead us in the future. He was strong, but this wasn’t what he was made for.
