Faye squeaked. “Lucian? “Owen, is Lucian the name of your wolf?”

“Uh, honey, we’re in a bit of a pickle. You don’t have to meet your mate’s wolf right now. I turned away from her and asked her to help Owen calm down. No one knew how wild Lucian was in real life. When it came to the people he loved, he was dangerous and had no remorse.

Faye got up and walked to her mate while rolling her eyes. “Stop it, Lucian! You will let Owen take charge and explain who you are. I’m your partner, and I deserve more than a man who lets another woman control him.”
