Serene’s POV

The door to my office opened immediately, and I stood up. I hope they found out something. The five of them entered silently.

“What happened?” I asked them immediately before they sat down on the sofa.

“The two died,” began Vincent.

“Huh? How did that happen?” I wondered

“Someone killed them. Someone entered the underground room,” answered Rojan, who just sighed and leaned back on the sofa.

“Did you catch it?” I asked. The four shook their heads, while Ardin was deep in thought.

“We really intended to scare the one that we cut off the head of. I don’t think they will really die,” said Khalix.

I was disappointed to hear that.
