Amanda Gardener always made sure they met at different places. Thanks to her, his life was anything but monotonous. The pure joy of having so much money at his disposal that had—that joy that had simmered until it was barely noticeable after the novelty had worn off—was being renewed.
The day after his visit to Asmodeus’s big showcase, he had a meeting with her that required him taking a helicopter ride to a mansion in Georgia with a ridiculously large acreage of land around it.
