Chapter 237. You Wanted to See Me

Carlos didn’t let her come up to meet him at the living area like he would’ve back then because it was about time the switched things up. He had to show her that she no longer has the power she used to and things had changed. He wanted to break her to make sure she lost every ounce of faith and every ounce of hope and if what the reports he’d been hearing of her well-being were to be relied on, he was well on his way to getting there or might have even succeeded to do so already.

No matter what the truth was about this woman, the first step to take would be to break her. He’d deal with the aftermath of that later, if and only when the truth of who she really was finally out.
