Chapter 95. Snazzy

Carlos was having his final fitting for the suit he was wearing to the midnight gala. Juan was fussing over every little thing as usual. Dahlia and Stones were absent today, so it was only Carlos, the designer, Clark, Alfred, and Andy, Juan’s underling. It felt quite different from two years ago.

Andy had been looking intensely at Carlos for a while, and Carlos was not too sure that it was entirely because of his suit. It was a very eye-catching suit, though. The main fabric had a satin-like surface without looking tacky. Its lapels were velvet, and his tie pin was a deep, glowing ruby—a gem that matched the color of his pocket square. He was looking fantastic, but he was certain that was not the reason he was receiving such a probing look from Andy.

“Got something on your mind?” Carlos asked, and the boy knew immediately that Carlos was referring to him.
