Chapter 11. Weak Spot

Savannah’s POV

Rushing out of the house, I transform into my wolf and run as fast as I can through the woods. Derek sounded serious over the phone, almost like he was mad. Derek’s the nicest person I know. I can’t imagine him ever getting mad, but after last night, I have a feeling that he might.

After a few minutes of running, I reach a clearing in the woods where there’s a tall tree and a big rock underneath. This is our meeting spot. Derek and I like to have picnics here. He’ll bring the food and I’ll bring board games or books. We can spend hours out here and it’s honestly my favorite time with him.

“Derek!” I call out as soon as I see him. He’s wearing his favorite denim jacket that brings out his eyes. And he’s sitting by the rocks, on a picnic blanket. Quickly, I transform back into my human form and sit next to him. “About last night…” I panted breathlessly. “I can explain…”
