Chapter 68. Leaving Marks

Savannah’s POV

Oh thank you!

After throwing her a glare, I go over to the mirror and fix my hair into a messy bun. Meanwhile, she and Juju are already out the door. They are eager to see the guest outside.

But who else can it be?

After about a minute later, I step out of my room to get to the living room. Juju and Lexy are sitting on the couch, acting nonchalant, but I know they’re gonna eavesdrop as soon as they get the chance. I keep walking, and I turn a corner to the front door. And then I see him. Carter Hanson in his signature three-piece suit.

“Carter?” I gape.

“Hey,” he beams with that gorgeous smile.

I am floored. I’m not expecting to see him there, looking all tall and handsome. Meanwhile, I’m still in my pajamas and I have crazy bed hair. Okay, I fixed it a bit, but compare to his suit, it’s noting.
