Chapter 44
Hazel’s POV
Castle looked lively and colorful, unlike on other occasions. My curious eyes were wide like a child’s for I admired the rare view of such a place that was ruled by people with grey hearts. The walls were decorated with daisies and lilies, one of my mother’s favorites.
For her she wanted me to name after that particular flower, Lily or Daisy for they symbolized innocence and purity, a trait hard to find in a world like today. Just like their fragrance blossomed miraculous resurrection of heaven, I was that piece of heaven for her.
There was a garden in her eyes, and I was her lilies and daisies.
“You’re smiling, should I be concerned?” Ria joked, her light voice brought tranquility. For a moment I forget what I was going to deal with.
“How long did it take for these decorations?” I asked curiously. When I was dragged back to my room yesterday, the castle was gruesome.
