Theodore’s POV
She was still shaken by my behavior in the hallway. I’d been so careful around her to not let my emotions slid through the mask of indifference I usually wear yet I let them slip and it was not a good sign. I never lose control. Period.
Yet in the span of few months, she’d upended that she was sole purpose of our lives. Heat poured though my blood as Hazel walked in front of me and slowly turned her curious eyes around. Just like any other occasion, the castle was decorated lavishly. Long running red carpet, untouchable antiques.
“I-It’s beautiful,” Hazel breathed out, her attention on something in front but I didn’t bother to follow her gaze as my eyes swept over her back. I always thought my life was black and white until I saw her in teal blue. Brown eyes. Teal dress. Vibrant and lively. Apparently, I always thought Ezra’s blue hues would be my favorites until I met her gaze.
