Theodore’s POV
The awkward and tensed silence draped around that I was sure my anger could be seen clearly. Maids had stiffened as they lowered their heads. My mother seemed more distressed by the tension on her features, her grip on the chair as it hardened, and her worried eyes glancing our way.
