Isla’s POV 

       Shifting my furious glare to Miller accusingly, I wanted to rip his head off his arrogant shoulders. 

      He must have known that they would be here.

      “What?” Miller caught me glaring his way and got all defensive. 

      “You that knew they were here, didn't you?” I challenged him to come clean over my suspicions, but he remained adamant that he had known nothing. 

      Max calmly put an arm around me and whispered to me to let it go, and there was no point in starting an argument as it would not change anything.
