Back at the restaurant, Azalea sat with a perplexed expression, and Ray was on the edge of his seat, ready to take any action at her command. He even poured her a glass of water to calm her down.

"Thank you, Ray," she accepted his kind gesture with a soft, warm smile before picking up the glass and taking a brief sip.

"You don't have to worry about what she just said. Kids these days are just like that. Orion has been giving me a tough time too lately," Asher, feeling left out, pitched in by leaning forward and extending his hand to the table, gently placing it close to Azalea's. Ray's guard was raised instantly, but Azalea remained unaware of his advances.

Asher continued, this time in a slightly hushed tone, ensuring Azalea was looking at him while he spoke. "Trust me, once the kids get married, everything will be okay. We will be one big happy family." His hand slowly reached out to hers, almost touching her.
