Chapter 155. Why Alison?
LATTON was sitting on the swing. Both of them look like they don’t belong in the park. Albert wore his corporate attire while she wore her blue maternity dress.
Still holding her ice cream, she swings herself, “I WANT TO KNOW WHY,” she asks.
Albert looked at her in confusion.
“Why Alison?” She repeats. “Of all people, why her? Walk me down to your love story. So that it's easier for me to accept this. Tell me how you fell in love.” She exclaims.
He frowned and then held onto the swing she was sitting on. “It’s hard to explain. All I can say is we love each other,” he remarks.
She smirked, “More than you love me, Derek, Catherine?” She inquired with a sorrowful voice.
He did not respond.
She sighed in despair, “You don’t need to answer. After your wedding, she’s the only one you’ll have beside you anyway.” She commented. “It’s getting dark, I should get home. My husband might be worried sick, and your soon-to-be wife might be sulking.”
