LATTON is having difficulty sleeping. Her dreams are haunted by memories of someone she can’t even remember and reality is worse than her nightmares.

She wanted to stop the wedding from happening but had no idea how to do it. The lack of sleep didn’t help her condition. She couldn’t come up with a plan to stop or at least defer her father’s union with Alison.

“Why can’t he see she’s bad for him, for our family, for our company? Can’t he see it, or does he choose to ignore it?” She asks herself while tossing and turning in her bed. Her thoughts were interrupted when she felt her phone vibrate. When she glanced at who it was she was surprised to see it was a message from Vivian inviting her to have lunch.

Latton stared at her phone for a while before she agreed to meet her.
