Ava nodded. "I'm lucky that you can see that quality in me. You don't think too highly of me, do you?" Her eyes narrowed.

Jeremy laughed lightly. "I am the person I am. My judgment is always objective. I can see you because my observation is sharp."

"Since when did you start observing me?"

"When we first argued?" Ava raised an eyebrow. "You said you were looking in the rearview mirror?"
