Ava's eyes moved to avoid him. However, the sound of his footsteps came closer.

"Yes, it's comfortable." She quickly covered herself with the blanket. "Thank you, Jeremy."

When she turned around, a kiss landed directly on her forehead, "Then sleep. I still have to take care of something."

Ava's imagination was immediately shattered. "You don't want to sleep yet?" She didn't realize that her tone sounded disappointed.

Jeremy smiled faintly. "I have to take care of several things that were postponed today. But you don't need to worry. I'm doing it from my tablet, next to you. I can work with you in my arms if you want."

"Oh, no." Ava waved her hand quickly. "That's not necessary. You just focus on work. I'm off to bed. Good night, Jeremy."
