Ava glanced at Jeremy in the reflection of the mirror. The man was already sitting in the waiting chair, shrugging his shoulders in resignation.
"Okay, I knew you were going to take over."
"Good!" The man clapped his hands twice. "Girls, come on, mobilize your pretty fingers. We only have one hour."
Jeremy never knew that waiting could be that fun. Even though his hand was holding the tablet, his eyes kept being attracted to Ava. He was curious about how the girl would be after being polished—the girl he had previously called stiff and unattractive.
