He decided to walk away, leaving the room and shutting the door behind him. Aria broke down in tears again after he left, almost forgetting how to breathe. It made Maya growl with anger.

“Are you really crying? Aria, you hate him. You can’t be crying because of him…and you know, he is right. You don’t really want him or any of the things you think you do,” Maya said to Aria as they paced the room together, but Aria still couldn’t hear her.

Maya stopped after noticing the legs by the tall window curtains. She tried alerting Aria but she didn’t hear her till the man behind the curtains came to where she was still sobbing on the bed and placed a hand on her shoulder.

“Are you okay?” Ferro asked and Aria stopped immediately, shifting away from his touch in half panic and half fear.

“You again,” She breathed loudly, her lashes still wet with tears. “I thought you left already.”
