Chapter 10

Arthur’s Pov:-

Holding her hand, I kept staring at her peaceful sleeping face. It hurts to see her like this, the pain and guilt were eating me inside. I couldn’t even sleep the whole night and kept staring at her beautiful face, and checking on April every now and then. I kept hoping Davina would wake up soon but she didn’t.

The things she said to me when I hurt her played inside my head, her words hurt me but

what I did to her was wrong and not apologizing to her for it made it worse. I wish I could go back and stop myself from doing that but I can’t, I can’t reduce the pain she went through and can’t take those words back I said.

“I’m sorry,” I whispered while kissing the back of her hand, tears rolled in my eyes,

“I shouldn’t have said those things to you, I’m truly sorry,” I said and moved her soft and delicate hand to my forehead.
