Chapter 30
It was already half an hour since Zayden had run away from home, and he still had not come back. He was still in the middle of nowhere with his car parked near a tall tree at the side of the road. He lay his head on the steering wheel while still crying silently. When he thought about calling his best friend, Ram, just so he could have someone to talk to, his phone rang, and coincidentally, the caller ID said that it was Ram who was calling.
“You always sense it whenever I need you, don’t you?” Zayden faked a laugh, and Ram noticed right away that Zayden was crying.
“Of course,” Ram laughed too. “I told you our minds are always connected, even if we are worlds away from each other.”
Ram was about to ask Zayden what was happening, but Zayden had already decided to open up about his problems before Ram could do so.
