Chapter 13. Nightmare
“Mommy… Daddy…” I called.
Where are they? Why am I alone with a stranger? I thought they’d always be on my side, loving me and protecting me.
But why the hell am I alone?
“Please… Please… I’ll do everything you want,” I begged as I tasted the tears in my mouth. “Just let me go—”
Before I could finish my sentence, that person held me by the arm, pulled me, and then pushed me somewhere.
I grimaced as my back hit the wall.
“You’ll do everything I want?” A man’s voice filled the air, sending shivers down my spine. “Then stay silent. That’s all you need to do.”
I gasped, having a harder time breathing.
“If you just obey, there won’t be a problem.”
Suddenly, the pain exploded in my head.
I screamed as I jolted from my bed, my eyes widening as the sweat accumulated from all parts of my body.
