Noella’s POV

The calling was over and everyone was back into the house, discussing Logan’s case. I was meant to stay back and assist in making dishes as a thank you sacrifice to the Moon Goddess but I was way too hysterical to do that.

“Noella, do you think you can rest up in the guest room? We will call you out once we have hunted down the sacrifice and prepared it, so you can help in rendering it.”

“Of course. Thank you.” My chest heaved with the burden of the truth.
