Chapter 109

Noella’s POV

I had opted for a quick, short nap immediately after settling Logan in his bed but luck was not on my side as Austin could not get out of my head. I thought over and over again of what it was exactly that I was hiding and when I could no longer take it I stood up from the bed and walked to the kitchen to get some wine to drown my ferocious wolf self into a deep slumber.

On my way to the kitchen, my ear caught the sound of sexual sounds. The soft, airy moans of a woman intertwined with the husky, grunts of a man that came from the guest room. I followed it to the door and placed my ears close to it, keeping as still as possible.

The moans and grunts continued till the two reached their peak and descended down the spiral road of ecstasy again. I was dumbfounded and utterly speechless. As if like a robot that is being controlled, I left the door side and walked to the kitchen before settling on the stool in front of the bar counter.

What was
