Noella’s POV

“She is my second wife.” He replied as if it was totally nothing to make a fuss about.

My mouth dropped open and I felt weak suddenly. I had no idea what had happened, I had been sure I was going to break her and tear her apart but I suddenly went so numb that I could only move my eyes around. I searched through Austin’s face and beyond to find an iota of lie but none was found.

My eyes were already watery and filled with tears but I did not want to cry in front of Austin and look pathetic, than I already am to him.

“We have a son, Austin. What are you going to say to him about all of this? Getting another mother?”

“Reece is not here to replace you, Noella. She is just your junior in this. She can take care of Logan also, do not make such a fuss about it.” He stated with an, ‘I do not necessarily care’ attitude.
