Laura’s POV
“Let us excuse Benita and Logan, so they can get along.” I brought up when the tension did not seem to be dying down.
We moved from the table to another table across to chat there personally, leaving the kids at the table.
“Okay, let us begin with this so we can get it over with as fast as possible.” I said to clear up the silence that had seemed to settle like an unwanted fog.
Noella cleared her throat and adjusted her seat comfortably before continuing with the silence, no hope in sight of having anything to say just yet.
“Sara, would you mind going first?” I asked, indicating with my brow.
“Of course. So, this meeting is about Logan; your son and Benita, my daughter, who I believe are matched mates by the Moon Goddess. I sent that to you.” Sara paused and I watched her reaction to hopefully hear a lively reply or even just a sullen one, at least something but she was not in the mood to talk.
