Chapter 69. Eat With Me, Or I’ll Eat You

Leah’s POV

I massaged my forehead due to the mountain of paperwork I had to read in the Alpha Office, and since the last time I spoke to Almera, I noticed that she was trying to restrain herself from being overly protective of me. Being the Alpha is no joke; I was exhausted from my chair. Salute to the three Alphas if they’re still alive; I can’t imagine how stressed up they must be managing a pack.

Ahhh! How long do I need to read the three packs’ performance standards? I spent a few days in the hospital, so my break didn’t happen as planned!

As soon as I heard a knock, I turned to face the door. I felt so much hooking that I almost lost my balance on the chair. Ah! My back aches so badly!
