Chapter 115. Making Things Right

He didn’t look like he wanted to do that, if anything, he looked like he did not want to do that at all. “Sara, I can’t just do that. You know this.”

“No, what I know is that you can do this. You stripped your son off his title as alpha of the pack, went against the elders, and threw my sister and I behind bars, didn’t you?” 

He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. It was clear that he had no excuse. He stared at me for a few seconds and then he finally gave in. “Fine, I will do what you want. Is that all?”

“You’re also going to step down as alpha of the pack and give the title back to your son. He may be young but he deserves it more than you do.”

 He scoffed, and for a second there, when I saw his eyes harden, I felt like he was going to say no. But he didn’t. He sighed and replied, “Sure, whatever you need. If you need a unicorn too, don’t fail to tell me. Anything you need, Sara, just save our damn town and pack.”
