Chapter 134. Kicked Out?

Giveon was staring at me, and I knew that he could tell that I was deep inside of my mind. He cleared his throat gently and then I was pulled right back to reality. “Are you okay? You were making that face when you often zone out.” 

“Was I?” I could feel my face heat up. “I’m sorry, I was just doing some thinking.” 

“Would you like to share?” He pulled me closer to me, flashing me a soft and comforting smile. “I won’t judge if you were imagining me naked, you know?” He wiggled his brows and I rolled my eyes playfully before laughing. 

“No…I was just thinking about my sister and Maddie.”

“Lisa and Maddie? Why?” 

“First of all, Lisa is still married to Kevin. Yeah, her charges were dropped but would she stay with him? I need to know before I tell her about our engagement. I want to be able to read the room, you know? Because she just literally got a second chance at life, I would hate to put her in a bad place mentally.”
