Chapter 14. I Need the Job

I followed Beauty as she led the way, my heart thumping in my chest. Loud music blared from the other side of the club as we continued to walk, but it was more muffled.

We finally came to a stop at a door, and she let go of my hand. I watched her take a key out of her pocket, pushing it into the lock and unlocking the door.

She then pulled the key out and pushed the door open, gesturing for me to go in. I tentatively walked into the room, looking around.

She walked in right after me and then closed the door. “Do you have any tattoos?” She asked, walking past me and heading towards some clothes that were hanging on hangers. 

“No,” I replied, hooking a few strands of my hair behind my ears. “Do I need some?”

“No, I was just asking. It’s sexier but I guess we can work with what you got.” She picked out something for me to wear and hung it on her arm before walking back to me. “Take off the dress and wear this. Also, hold your hair in a ponytail and wear more
