Chapter 16. Meeting the Alpha

I could speak, but I was tentative about doing so. I didn’t want to be recognized. I didn’t want him to know that it was me.

“I just started tonight,” I replied firmly, avoiding looking at him now that I had spoken. “Is there anything else?”
