Chapter 21. I Know a Spot
“It doesn’t matter.” He flashed me a small smile before standing on his feet. He then extended his hand to me and waited for me to take it. “Come on.”
I wanted to refuse, but again, what would that do for me? Going with him was way better than sitting here on the curb crying my eyes out.
Plus, I was way too embarrassed to go back there. My fave was still burning from where the woman had hit me, but I ignored it.
I reluctantly gave my hand to him and he helped me to my feet. He then let go and walked to the other side of the car, opening the door and getting in.
I sniffled, running my hand through my hair as I made my way closer to the car, opening my side and getting inside.
I put on my seatbelt and sniffled some more, releasing a sigh. I watched Giveon bring the car to life and in no time, we were on our way.
