Chapter 38

Adam's POV

I was beyond frustrated at the result my men were pulling out with, Jason and Jayden had been gone for three whole weeks and all the clues they've brought me have all led to dead ends in the investigation. Nothing tangible had been found.

I had an army of men at my beck and call yet they couldn't track down the bunch of amateurs who had kidnapped my sons. There were no signs of their whereabouts and that was what worried me, there were no leads, no ransom demands. It was like they vanished off the face of the earth. 

My mind raced with thoughts of the two boys I wasn't given the chance to meet, what would they be like?, what did they like?, what were their dislikes? but alas I had no answer to those questions because I hadn't met them. A pit formed in my gut whenever I thought about the eight years of their lives I had missed, I wasn't there when they were given birth to, I didn't watch them take their first steps, I hadn't celebrat
