I was back to my regular life which involved the sound of coffee machines and people swinging in and out of the café to get and do one thing or the other.
Yesterday was magical. Everything about it proved to be surreal and when my mind plays back his confession, I get a little more convinced that everything that happened was seriously just my dreams.
Somehow, amid my conviction and everything else in between, my eyes keep darting toward the door, I try to tell myself that I am not looking out for him or hoping he comes by, but that’s some lie even I can’t tell myself.
Andrew Blake had become someone to me. Someone who mattered to me as much as I did not want that. I did not want to get caught up in the web of his world because I was sure I could not handle it.
