We took a long drive to lord knows where, which I did not complain about because aside from this drive, we had more than a few discussions to have and there was no way we would do that by avoiding each other.
My mind darted back to the last conversation with Archer. The fact that he did not deny my accusation indicated that everything was true, yet, I could not stop the feelings of being betrayed from irking me.
I mean, it was not surprising that Archer did not like me. Never did. He thinks I had usurped his position from him being a legitimate son which frankly does not make sense because if there was one thing I admired about our father’s business ethics was that he made sure to build the committee not just with conviction but with honesty.
