“You don’t mean that,” he said, pushing the cup over to me. I furrowed my brows and tasted the coffee, which was bland at best and horrible at worst.
I didn’t show any indication that it was bad, though. Instead, I smiled wider than before, which caused his horrified expression to turn into confusion.
“Why? It’s perfect for me, though. Reminds me of someone I just met,” I told him, and he scoffed, realizing that I made a drink that would fit his personality. A wide smile spread across my cheeks, and I was almost gleefully dancing at his expression. I almost laughed when he started whining about the coffee.
