Chapter 12

ANIKA'S POV:

I was yawning crazily. My eyelids were heavy. I just wanted to hug his pillow and sleep peacefully. But of course, I did not want him to be mad at me. I was sitting on his bed, hugging my knees tightly so I would not fall asleep. "What is taking him so long? I want to sleep." I thought to myself as I looked at the wall clock again. It had been fifteen minutes, Adam had not come back. I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed. I knew it would be hard for me to stay awake if he would not come back in five more minutes.

Just then, the door opened and he stepped into the room. He had a guilty smile on his face. He quickly came to me and set the tray of food in front of me. He grabbed the bowl of soup and filled a spoon. He blew it a few times then held it in front of my mouth. I opened my mouth and took my first bite. To be honest, I was not hungry at all. But who would say no if someone is pampering you like a baby. I really enjoyed whenever he fed me with hi
