Chapter 13

ANIKA'S POV:

I moaned as I felt someone's lips on my neck. I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. It was Adam. He had a worried look on his face. As if he had seen me crying crazily. It was true. Ever since Aura had told me about the truth, I started crying. She hugged me and comforted me. But it was not enough. I loved Adam more than I had loved myself. He was the only one I had ever wanted in my life. All my life, I had waited for the moment when I would turn eighteen so I could be with him. The whole territory knew that I was his mate. This is what he had been telling everyone. It was impossible that he felt me as his mate but he was not my mate. And I knew he would never lie to me.

I gulped hard and sat up on the bed. He came closer to me and wrapped his arms around me. "Is everything okay, baby girl? Did you have a nightmare? Talk to me, baby girl." He asked me in a worried tone. I was not able to control myself in front of him. I was like clear water for him. H
