Chapter 7. Party Virendra

“Is this not an exaggeration?” asked Angela while they were in the car.

"Exaggerated how? No," Regan exclaimed.

“Aren't you ashamed to invite me to an event like this? There must be a lot of your colleagues. What will they say about you when they find out that you brought me from the lower ranks and are your employee," said Angela.

"Does not matter. I don't mind them," Regan replied casually.

“But I feel bad,” cried Angela.

“You want to try to dodge, eh? I won't force you if you don't want to. But in exchange for this month's basic salary I will cut it, "Regan answered as casually as possible.

"What?" shrieked Angela.

“The choice is yours. Do you want to go home or accompany me,” Regan called out with a small grin.

“ you are devil, coercive. None of the choices are in my favor," Angela grumbled even though it was low but Regan could hear her.

Hearing Angela's scolding, Regan couldn't help but smile a little.
