Chapter 10. Division Dinner

Regan and Nickolas joined the others at the men's table. Angela turned to Regan and it was then that their gazes met. Caught stealing glances at Regan, Angela hastily turned her head away.

Nickolas explained the dinner was an appreciation for the finance division which always finishes its work well and achieves the expected targets. Everyone clapped after hearing Nickolas' explanation.

"Then let's toast the finance division!" Nickolas shouted and everyone raised their glasses in the air.

"Cheers!"

After the event, they enjoyed dinner together accompanied by small talk.

“Ummm… this is delicious,” Angela muttered as she stuffed the chunks of meat into her mouth. "Gosh, I can eat a lot at this rate."

“You meat freak,” Rosie exclaimed, making Angela chuckle.

Drrrt drrt

Angela picked up the cell phone that was on the table. He took it and opened the inbox.
