Yes, Mom, just a moment." Regan jogged while carrying her bag on her back.

Maybe, Father Aiden, wait a minute, will you?" Agneta rose from her seat and walked to open the door.

"Davero?" Agneta was surprised that Davero was standing at the door, not Aiden. "What is it?"

"I want to meet Regan," Davero said in a flat tone.

"No way. Regan is leaving for school now."

"I'll take him."

"No need; I'll take him. You don't need to bother."

Davero was able to catch the frightened look in Agneta's eyes and say, "You don't need to worry. I'm pretty close to Regan these days, so he should be happy to be escorted by me."

"He-"

"Om Velo!" Regan shouted, appearing behind Agneta's body and happily welcoming Davero.

"Hello Handsome!" Davero said, smiling as he lifted Regan into his arms.
