Chapter 127. Regan's Condition

Angela opened her eyes slowly. He felt his head so heavy and dizzy.

"Angela, you're awake!" Rita exclaimed, making Angela turn to her.

Angela immediately jumped up from her position. "Rita, the news? Was it all just a dream?" asked Angela, wishing it was all a dream.

"Angela, that-"

Angela stared at Rita intensely and hoped that her answer would not break her heart. "Rita, please tell me this is all a lie! That all this is just a dream! I ask!" cried Angela with a trembling voice and tears that were already hanging in her eyelids.

"I want to say that. But I can't lie," muttered Rita, looking down sadly.

"Re-regan? Impossible!"

Angela let go of the IV in her hand.

"Angela, what are you doing?" Rita shouted, getting up from her seat and blocking Angela, who had now climbed down the gurney.

"I can't just keep quiet. I want to know Regan's condition!" cried Angela, brushing past Rita and walking quickly out
