Chapter 93. Rejected Again

Catherine woke up from her sleep when she felt water hit her face. She looked around and adjusted her vision. She was shocked when both her hands and body were tied to a chair. A cloth was covering her mouth.

"Hmmmm!" she cried out, trying to make a sound and struggling to untie her.

"You're finally awake, Babe."

Catherine's eyes widened at the sight of someone towering over her.

'Robert...' she thought.

"Long time no see. Did you miss you?" he exclaimed, smiling and taking a seat opposite Catherine.

"Hmmmm!!!" Catherine struggled to get untied.

"Calm down, my dear. Save your strength. It's useless for you to keep struggling; the bonds will never be untied."

Robert returned his smile and stared at Catherine. "You seem to have something to say. Alright, I'll take this off," he said, removing the cloth covering her mouth.

"Isshhh!" Catherine winced as she felt a twinge of pain at the corner of her lips.
