Chapter 12. Rich and Classy

It’s been two days since Eli got discharged from the hospital. He’s doing so much better, and the stitches were already taken out. Calla had since called Eli’s school to inform his teacher about his accident and to take some days off.

She stayed close to him all day, never leaving his side.

She went as far as to follow him to the bathroom, but he protested. He told her he could manage.
