The dimly lit room creates a relaxing atmosphere as Adam and I lazy around on the bed. His arm is wrapped around my waist and the side of my body presses into him. My stomach isn't completely deflated but it's noticeably smaller than how it was before.
Adam hasn't left the house since the miscarriage which was about a week ago. I know he's trying to be here for me, but I feel guilty for having pulled him out of the hospital.
I've tried so many times to cajole him to get to work but he remains insistent that he stays with me. Since my mom arrived about three days ago, the girls have been keeping her occupied.
She's been happy spending time with them and she somehow manages to keep up with their energetic play.
