HAZEL’S POV
I gasped at the sight of it. My wolf.
“When did this happen?” My dad asked pulling away.
I rolled my eyes at him. “It’s not like I’ve not been sounding it all those weeks back at home. You just did not believe me. You need to start believing me, father.”
He smiled down at me. His eyes held tears in them.
“Ervin?” He asked.
I nodded. “Ervin. When we shared our first eye contact back at the border when he was leaving, I felt my wolf stir up. I had my wolf when I met him. He is my mate's father. My goddess-given mate.”
My dad laughed, tears spilling down his eyes. “I never thought I would see the day.” He pulled me again into a hug as he cried and laughed tears of joy.
When he pulled away, the rest of the people in the courtroom just did nothing but stare at the two of us.
