Chapter 30. Forgotten a Lot
HAZEL’S POV
“You can do it, my lady.” His words rang from a distance even though he was so close.
“Reach out to her. Let her guide you.”
Pain. Fear.
These were rolling off of me in thick waves.
“Ah!” I screamed in horror as my knees twisted and expanded.
The pain was immeasurable. My skin expanded, tearing and giving way to be replaced by furs.
“I can’t do this.” I cried. I was sweating profusely.
“My lady you have not even started.” The man said. “If you have to transform and reach your full wolf potential, you have to pass through this.”
We were in the transformation grounds. It was my turn to learn how to wolf out.
I fell to my knees shaking my head. “No. No. No. I can’t do this anymore.”

I felt him before he even touched me.
His touch soothed me. For a second the pain was forgotten and all I could feel was his soft and gentle touch.
