HAZEL’S POV

It was bombshells upon bombshells. The first was that my brothers were out there fighting for a pack that was not theirs. The second is that Ginger is Joshua’s mate! How!

“He’s your mate? Joshua? My eldest brother Joshua?” I asked just to be sure.

She nodded hesitantly. “Are you mad at me?” She whispered looking a bit scared.

I frowned. “The hell? Why would I be?” I sighed. “I am just surprised, awed, and mostly happy for the both of you. I can’t show it because of the situation we’re in right now. The war. Tell me this after all this is over. Okay?” I said giving her a genuine smile.
